The Friends of Weston Shore were pleased to be invited to a meeting to discuss Southampton City Council’s budget proposals. Along with other local interest groups, we were invited to learn more about what the Council is proposing and how volunteer groups are involved in the local community.
An item of importance during the meeting was the revival and importance of Woolston as a shopping centre and what can be done to assist in this regard. The Friends of Weston Shore are keen to be involved in these types of discussions and look forward to participating again in the future.
